A 90s "Clueless" Inspired Blazer-Mini Skirt Capsule Outfit

One of my favorite things about having a more flexible schedule and creating my work versus having work created for me, is that I can have a bit more variety in my daily outfits. Since adding this Reformation mini-skirt to my capsule wardrobe late this summer, looks from my high school days (like this so 90s mini-skirt/blazer combo) have been having a renaissance in my life.

Underneath the blazer, is my sports bra/Free People crop top that I use for many of my capsule wardrobe outfits.

Because of my long-legged, short torso, petite frame (I'm barely 5'2"), I have to be really careful with my shoes when I wear with a skirt like this or I look like I'm all leg. At first, I had on my leopard print, calf hair, pointed toe, Manolos, but it was just too much. I really like the idea of mixing the grid pattern with an leopard print shoe, but what's currently in my closet made it a no-go. So I purposely went with the Stuart Weitzman bootie to cut down on all the leg and have things in better proportion.
